CTCC research have a large impact
One of these papers is A density matrix-based quasienergy formulation of the Kohn–Sham density functional response theory using perturbation- and time-dependent basis sets by A.J.Thorvaldsen, K.Ruud, K.Kristiansen, P.Jørgensen, and S.Coriani, which was among the top 20 papers downloaded from Journal of Chemical Physics in December 2008. The work is a collaboration between the two CTCC nodes as well as a result of the Nordic Network of National Centres of Excellences (NCoECC) which CTCC is leading.
The second paper is Intermolecular Interaction-Controlled Tuning of the Two-Photon Absorption of Fullerene Bound in a Buckycatcher by S.Chakrabarti and K.Ruud, among the top 5 accessed letters in the J.Phys.Chem.A during the 6 first months of 2009. This work was the result of the international visitor program of CTCC, demonstrating the success of this program.
